Master of Health Science; 2013
University of Lethbridge, Canada
2011 Bachelor of Arts in Population Health

Role at Inspired Canadian Learning Expedition
I am responsible for recruitment and operational activities overseas. I use the most efficient and culturally acceptable approach to recruit youth between the ages of 14 and 18 from Ghana and other African countries to participate in our I.C.L.E. programs in Canada. I ensure that youth who come from overseas arrive safely in Canada and return home safely. Safety and comfort are my top priorities.
Educational Philosophy
I believe all youth are capable of learning something new and may differ in the rate at which they learn. However, I believe different teaching methods and strategies can be used to leverage youth learning differences. For me since youth are adventurous, they learn better when learning takes place outside the classroom. Thus, youth must have the opportunity to develop their learning skills in an informal environment where many learning opportunities exist. I believe overseas educational and recreational trips can enrich the learning experience and social lives of youth, especially those from the developing part of the world. I plan on assisting our clients explore more learning opportunities in Canada.
